Fastener Fair Stuttgart 2011 closes with record results
Europe’s leading trade exhibition for the fastener and fixing industry, Fastener Fair
Stuttgart 2011, ended today with record results. On an enlarged exhibition area,
covering 12,500 square metres net in three halls at Stuttgart’s exhibition grounds,
667 exhibitors from 40 countries showcased a comprehensive range of products and
services for the fastener and fixing industry. With some 8,300 visitors, an increase of
38% compared with the previous exhibition, this year’s Fastener Fair Stuttgart was
the biggest ever.
Visitors from all over the world made their way to Stuttgart to discover the latest
industry trends and to source new products and systems. The range of exhibits
included industrial fasteners and fixings, construction fixings, assembly and
installation systems, fastener manufacturing technology as well as storage and
logistics services. Exhibiting companies and visitors alike praised the outstanding
quality and international flavour of the exhibition.
“We want to congratulate our exhibitors and visitors for this success”, says Susanne
Rauberger, Exhibition Director Fastener Fair, on behalf of the show organisers Mack
Brooks Exhibitions. “We are particularly delighted to be able to say that there was
lively trading activity throughout the three show days and the mood was buoyant. A
large number of exhibitors were able to report excellent sales figures,” explains
Susanne Rauberger.
A first analysis of the exhibitor survey shows that an absolute majority of exhibitors
were highly satisfied with the results of the trade show and most of this year’s
exhibitors are already planning their participation at the next Fastener Fair Stuttgart
which is set to take place from 26 – 28 February 2013.
This year, the fastener and fixing industry can look forward to two new events
organised by Mack Brooks Exhibitions in key growth markets: Fastener Fair Mumbai
will take place from 16-17 April 2011 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai,
India, and Fastener Fair Brasil will open its doors from 8-9 November 2011 at the
Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, Brazil.
